Like our ADSL product, your connection runs at the maximum possible speed for all "local" operations, such as E-Mail. On Texxa's network, your speeds can be up to 24 Mb/s! Your traffic to or from the Internet may travel at varying speeds throughout the day, depending on network load and a variety of other factors. There is no minimum guaranteed speed. Our wireless product utilizes the 2.4 & 5.8 GHz unlicensed radio spectrums and the 802.11a/b/g standards, the leading edge of wide-area data networking. Connections in these frequency ranges are especially resistant to external noise sources & weather-related anomolies, and are less sensitive to minor obstructions in the signal path. Our radio towers are strategically placed to provide maximum coverage and signal strength, enabling connections over distances of 10 miles or more.
